“This vermouth maker is bringing something new to the scene…”

Charlotte McHaughan-Hawes, House & Garden.

The London Vermouth Company was born on a long night out, and raised on tasting, perfecting and flavour debating…
To help us on this journey, we enlisted our heroes of flavour & commissioned them to express their creativity in a bottle. The resulting vermouths are hand blended & bottled & produced in small batches with carefully selected ingredients sourced predominately from London & the home counties. In 2021, we were proud to present our 1st vermouth collection made in collaboration with two wonderful taste-makers, Camille and Steven .

In December 2023, to continue our vermouth journey, we worked with cocktail guru Carmen to launch our first pre-mixed vermouth cocktail.

No.1 Amber Limon Vermouth

Our No.1 Amber Limon comes from the imagination of legendary cocktail muse Camille Hobby Limon, who wanted to capture bright fruit flavours to deliver “sunshine in a bottle”.

This vermouth opens with bursts of rhurbarb, blood orange & citrus heightened with notes of orange flowers, finishing with bitter & dry botanicals on a South Downs Baachus base. This can be served neat with ice or elegantly paired with tonic or soda. We like to add this touch of sunshine to a spritz for a perfect sundowner

IWSC - International Wine & Spirits Competition Silver Award. Globally ranked 3rd= in Dry Vermouth & 11th= in the overall vermouth category .

“This is THE vermouth. You heard it here first, Vermouth it’s making a comeback” - Laura Jackson, TV Presenter, @iamlaurajackson

‘Best for Local Flavours: Our favourite is the No.1 Amber Limon…Sweet, a little bitter, but still pleasingly dry, we love it mixed with ginger ale and sparkling wine.’Claire Dodd, The Independent

Golden amber pour, with an earthy stewed fruit profile & a layering of herbaceous and floral complexity. A lovely colour & very heady, aromatic nose….a good level of initial sweetness, followed by a pleasantly dry, tannic mouthfeel & lots of the aromatic botanicals on the floral honey finish. ' - Great Taste Awards 2021

No.2 Camille’s Red Vermouth

Camille Hobby Limon’s mind & spirit is also behind our No.2 Camille’s Red vermouth.

Made with South Downs Bacchus, No.2 Camille’s Red has a backbone of Bonfire toffee from Queens Park which gives it a bitter sweet smokeyness. The edges of these bitter notes are softened with Gamay from Kent & a splash of port before finishing on a base of spice & citrus. This cosy vermouth works both as a smashable fireside stunner & an aperitivo-ready calmer, but excels when added to classic cocktails like Negronis & Manhattans.

‘Best For Negroni: With layers of bitter and sweet citrus, alongside a whiff of smoke, it’s a natural negroni maker.’ - Good Housekeeping Institute - Best Vermouths For The At-Home Mixologist 2021.

“.. brings flavours of toffee, roasted stone fruit & jammy port with a vivid blush & is perfect in a Negroni.” - Alexandra Dudley, Town & Country

‘a great fireside sipper.’- Mens Health -Best Vermouth to Buy 2022

“There is no such thing as perfect for Negroni, but if there was, this comes close” - @Mattblackgrapes

No.3 S.E. Dry Vermouth

Our No.3 S.E. Dry is a collaboration with Masterchef : The Professionals winner & chef patron Steven Edwards. who wanted to capture “the refreshment of the gardens of England”

This dainty & delicate vermouth opens with fresh taste of Essex Goosberries & Hampshire Bramley apples elevated with cardamon, coriander & a touch of wormwood before finishing with Dulwich honey on a South Downs Bacchus base. This mouth-watering vermouth works well as an aperitif chilled with ice & a slice or lengthen with a splash of tonic or soda. Where this vermouth works exceptionally well is in a Dry Martini as it doesn’t fight with the gin so balances easily.

‘Bottles for Vermouth Virgins: This light, appley aperitif is an accessible modern take on vermouth.’ - Fiona Beckett, The Guardian Feast

‘…excellent in a martini.’ - Charlotte Mchaughan-Hawes, House & Garden.

Bottles to Buy: A dainty yet complex British vermouth, this has beguiling notes of coriander, gooseberries and honey. - Hannah McGuinness, What is Vermouth, Olive Magazine

‘The new S.E Dry is very crisp…lovely by itself over ice with a slice of orange’- Kate Hawkings : Drinks Columnist & Author of ‘Aperitif’.

No.58 Carmen’s Negroni

No.58 Carmen’s Negroni is brought to you in collaboration with Carmen O’Neal (@cocktail.carmen), BBC TV’s Saturday Kichen cocktail expert & founder of 58 and Co, a sustainable distillery in East London.

.58 and Co’s multi-award-winning London Dry Gin has been infused with discarded cacao nibs & husks from their neighbours at Land (a bean to bar chocolate maker). This rich and complex gin fusion complements the smoky notes of bonfire toffee in our No.2 Camille's Red. Both have been expertly blended with Italian bitters to create a rich and bittersweet negroni, with hints of spice & chocolate oranges

No.58 Carmen’s Negroni is ready to be served straight up over ice with a slice of orange, or even mulled on a chill day.
